There are really a lot of stages in my writing I think. The reason I think this is, because I tend to have a lot of trouble starting it out. I have gotten a little bit better as I have mentioned in my other blogs but I just find myself having to do many revisions. The first of those would be the very first draft, which has lots of my main points but they are usually not worded or written in the right order that they need to be in. This usually is a fast draft just because I want to see how much I can get out of my material or what is on my mind when I write that one. Next step would be after the peer response or endorsement groups we will have this semester. This is where it could be good or bad feedback. Usually last semester I wasn’t able to do a whole lot during this step except maybe correct some of the grammar. So hopefully these endorsement groups are going to be good. Another step in my writing would be the conference with Stephanie this is where I get a lot of input. I usually at this point like to do a lot of revising such as put my stuff in the right order, maybe take out some stuff or even rewrite the whole thing as I mentioned in an earlier blog. After this step I started to reread really thoroughly and try to pick out anything that should not be in there. So, I don’t know about other people but I have learned to make many drafts instead of just having two like in highschool.

The difference between writing drafts for peer revision last semester and writing them for EGs this semester is you're going to have to have gone through more of the writing process BEFORE you bring the drafts to class. In other words, you should probably go to the Studio and work with a consultant early this week so you are presenting the EGs with your strongest work... (plus you get +5 extra credit!)
